We stopped by Fish in Sausalito after hearing they have the best crab sandwiches in the Bay Area. The place sits right on the water and has a laid-back vibe. It is the kind of spot where locals and visitors both show up for good seafood. You can smell the ocean.

The Crab Roll
The crab roll looks simple, but it delivers. Huge chunks of fresh crab fall out with every bite. The crab is buttery, sweet, and cooked just right. The roll reminds me of a bolillo. It is crunchy on the inside and soft where it should be. Every part of this sandwich works together.
The First Bite
That first bite was incredible. The crab is what makes it. It is so fresh you can taste the ocean in it. The sandwich is full of flavor but still simple. This is the best crab sandwich I have ever had. No question.
