Gallo Negro
Taco Series Ep. 2
Gallo Negro in Windsor: Day 2 of Our Taco Adventure for #HispanicHeritageMonth
On our second day of the Taco Series, celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month, we found ourselves in Windsor, California, at the renowned Gallo Negro. This wasn’t just a random choice; we were here on a special recommendation – my wife’s fond memories of their Grilled Chicken Tacos. 😋🌮✨

Yellow Corn Tortilla
As I took the first bite, the distinct flavor of the yellow corn tortilla stood out. The salsa was also delicious, with just the right kick. Speaking of the chicken, it was seasoned to perfection, holding its unique taste without needing any accompaniments.
Was it Worth it?
Priced at $4, some might argue it’s a tad on the pricier side for a taco. But when you factor in the ambiance of Gallo Negro and the quality of the taco, it feels well worth the price.
As we continue our journey, discovering a new taco gem every day, Gallo Negro certainly set the bar high. Stay with us as we explore and celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, one taco at a time! 🎉🌮
