In this episode, I go to Rohnert Park-Sonoma County’s Fast Food Capital to see who has the best Spicy Chicken Sandwich.
The sandwiches compared in this episode are the Popeyes’ Spicy Chicken Sandwich and the Chick-Fil-A Spicy Chicken Deluxe. I will be doing some Sonoma County/Bay Area based ones in the future.

Spicy Chicken Sandwiches are all the rage right now and for good reason-they’re delicious. I ran a poll on my Instagram to see which Spicy Chicken Sandwich was better, Chick-fil-A or Popeye’s. 

I was surprised to see how many people had not tried Popeye’s Spicy Chicken sandwich before. There were even people on my followers list that had never tried Chick-fil-A. From the people that did vote, Chick-fil-A won however the results were skewed because some people voted for Chick-fil-A simply because they had never had Popeye’s before. 

In this vlog I put the sandwiches side by side to finally settle the score. Keep in mind that everyone has different taste buds and that is why KFC didn’t make it in the challenge. KFC has their own Spicy Chicken Sandwich but it has vinegar…I can’t do vinegar. If I smell vinegar I’ll throw up and don’t even get me started on balsamic. If you enjoy vinegar and more sour tastes you might love the KFC Spicy Sandwich.

According to thrillist, KFC is relaunching a “new and improved” chicken sandwich. It looks like a copycat of the Popeye’s Sandwich with a KFC twist. Like Popeye’s you can get the normal Chicken Sandwich or you can get it with the spicy sauce. I am excited to try it and glad that KFC is still in the chicken sandwich game.
