A Flavorful Adventure at the Cloverdale Wine Walk with SoCo Paella
The Cloverdale Wine Walk, hosted by the Cloverdale Chamber was bustling with people, but our main attraction was undoubtedly the paella. As we approached the SoCo Paella stand at Kelley & Young Wines, our excitement soared. What awaited us was nothing short of spectacular!

So Many People
During the time we were there, we saw so many people. Wine tasters of all ages were attending the Second annual Cloverdale Wine Walk. Many businesses also had music playing from their establishments and participants poured copious amounts of wine.
About the SoCo Paella
We dove into the paella, and the first thing that struck us was the perfectly cooked rice. In paella, this is a make-or-break factor, and SoCo Paella nailed it. The rice was not only flawlessly cooked but wonderfully crispy too.
As we indulged further, we discovered asparagus, caramelized onions, and even potatoes – a delightful twist we hadn’t experienced before in paella. Each element was expertly prepared, enhancing the dish’s overall flavor profile.
The Meats
The meats in this paella were amazing! The steak was tender and flavorful, while the pork belly was a true perfectly cooked. The pork belly had a remarkable wine-infused essence, a rarity done to perfection by SoCo Paella. The paella also had a delightful smoky undertone that added to its deliciousness. It’s no wonder this place was a hotspot during the Wine Walk.
Other Participants
While it’s impossible to mention everyone, it was a pleasure to catch up with familiar faces, including Prinsley Wines. Among the standout vendors, Moon Dog Olive Farm held a special place. Their olives are truly exceptional, delivering an authentic olive experience with every bite.
Was it Worth it?
Our only regret? Not cycling here to make more room for this filling feast. Cloverdale’s welcoming atmosphere and warmer fall nights make it the perfect escape for those seeking delightful food experiences. Don’t miss out on Cloverdale’s exceptional food vendors and their mouthwatering creations.
