Grossman’s Noshery & Bar Delivers a Brunch Worth Coming Back For

If you know Railroad Square, you’ve probably passed by Grossman’s Noshery & Bar. What you might not know is that it serves some of the best brunch in Sonoma County. I have been coming here for years, and at this point, I have tried just about everything on the menu.
My daughter grew up eating here. Four years later, my son gets to experience it too.

The Food
We almost always order the french toast. It is one of those dishes that’s appropriate no matter what age you are. Soft, sweet, and done right every time.
This visit, we also tried something from Bubby’s Favorites—the fried chicken schnitzel. It came out golden and crispy, but still juicy inside. What really made it stand out was the combo of capers and zesty lemon. That sharp, salty bite from the capers with the brightness of lemon took the dish to another level.
And the fries? They tasted like a mix between classic french fries and crispy potato chips. Honestly, they were hard to stop eating.
For the Friends Fans
A fun little detail—Grossman’s is filled with references from the show Friends. Top to bottom. If you have watched the show, you will pick up on them right away. It adds a fun touch to the experience without being over the top.

Consistent
Grossman’s is the kind of spot that stays consistent. The food is always good. The space is welcoming. And it is one of those places you end up returning to again and again. Whether you are with your kids, meeting friends, or just stopping by for something solid—you will walk out full and happy.
