Homemade Tortillas
The anticipation was high; my wife had been raving about this place, and the first glimpse of the tacos did not disappoint. Moreover, priced at $4.95, these were not your run-of-the-mill tacos; they were substantial with thick, juicy cuts of meat snugly wrapped in handmade tortillas that were just the right mix of fluffy and thick.
Better Than Asada
Diving into the Al Pastor first, the taste was unmatched with its thick cut and tantalizing flavors. Next, the chicken taco, again proving to be a delightful experience. But the showstopper had to be the carne asada. It wasn’t just carne asada; it felt more like a flavorful steak, juicy and thick, a stark contrast to the usually thin slices we’re accustomed to.
Was it Worth it?
At first, I was skeptical about the $5 price tag on a taco, thinking it might be overpriced. However tasting them? Every bite justified the price. Furthermore, while some might argue that Cielito Lindo has an unfair advantage with their choice of high-quality meat and tortillas.
In all, Cielito Lindo surpassed expectations. Huge kudos to my wife for this recommendation. As we continue to explore more taco gems in Sonoma County, the bar keeps getting raised higher! Stick around for more taco adventures tomorrow. 🌮✨🎉
